Andrographis Paniculate
Andrographis is a plant that is frequently used for preventing and treating the common cold and flu (influenza). There is not enough scientific evidence to determine whether it is effective for any of these conditions.
Astragalus Extract
Astragalus is an herb that is used for many conditions, but so far, there is not enough scientific evidence to determine whether it is effective for any of them. Astragalus is taken for the common cold, upper respiratory infections and to strengthen and regulate the immune system.
Quercetin
Quercetin is a plant that is used for treating conditions of the heart and blood vessels including “hardening of the arteries” (atherosclerosis), high cholesterol, heart disease, and circulation problems. There is not enough scientific evidence to determine whether it is effective for any of these conditions.
Echinacea
Echinacea is an herb that is widely used to fight infections, especially the common cold, the flu, and other upper respiratory infections. Some people take echinacea at the first sign of a cold, hoping they will be able to keep the cold from developing. Other people take echinacea after cold symptoms have started, hoping they can make symptoms less severe.
Elderberry
Elderberry is the dark purple berry from the European elder tree. Elderberry is used to treat the common cold, “the flu” (influenza), and to boost the immune system. There is not enough scientific evidence to determine whether it is effective for any of these conditions.

Citrus bioflavonoids are compounds found in citrus fruits like tangerines, oranges, and grapefruit. Citrus bioflavonoids have been used to improve blood flow and ease swelling in the body.
